The Maxwell H. Gluck Equine Research Center in Lexington, Kentucky, is marking its 25th year in operation. It is the only university research center in the United States where the full-time focus for virtually all staff members is directed toward health issues in horses.

Results of studies at Gluck have led directly to vaccine development, design of diagnostic tests, technologies for drug detection in racing and performance horses, equine genome sequencing, control of parasites, new understanding of genetic diseases and traits, and management of reproduction in horses.

A rededication of the Gluck Center will take place July 12, 2012. For more information, check here or call 859-257-4757.
